BCn-symmetric abelian functions

چکیده
We construct a family of BCn-symmetric biorthogonal abelian functions generalizing Koornwinder’s orthogonal polynomials, and prove a number of their properties, most notably analogues of Macdonald’s conjectures. The construction is based on a direct construction for a special case generalizing Okounkov’s interpolation polynomials. We show that these interpolation functions satisfy a collection of generalized hypergeometric identities, including new multivariate elliptic analogues of Jackson’s summation and Bailey’s transformation.

ELLIPTIC INTEGRABLE SYSTEMS q-difference shift for van Diejen’s BCn type Jackson integral arising from ‘elementary’ symmetric polynomials
We study a q-difference equation of a BCn type Jackson integral, which is a multiple q-series generalized from a q-analogue of Selberg’s integral. The equation is characterized by some new symmetric polynomials defined via the symplectic Schur functions. As an application of it, we give another proof of a product formula for the BCn type Jackson integral, which is equivalent to the so-called q-...
متن کاملBCn-symmetric polynomials
We consider two important families of BCn-symmetric polynomials, namely Okounkov’s interpolation polynomials and Koornwinder’s orthogonal polynomials. We give a family of difference equations satisfied by the former, as well as generalizations of the branching rule and Pieri identity, leading to a number of multivariate q-analogues of classical hypergeometric transformations. For the latter, we...
متن کاملMonochrome Symmetric Subsets in Colorings of Finite Abelian Groups
A subset S of a group G is symmetric if there is an element g ∈ G such that gS−1g = S. We study some Ramsey type functions for symmetric subsets in finite Abelian groups.
متن کاملClassification of symmetric polynomials of infinite variables: Construction of Abelian and non-Abelian quantum Hall states
The classification of complex wave functions of infinite variables is an important problem since it is related to the classification of possible quantum states of matter. In this paper, we propose a way to classify symmetric polynomials of infinite variables using the pattern of zeros of the polynomials. Such a classification leads to a construction of a class of simple non-Abelian quantum Hall...
متن کاملWhich Finitely Generated Abelian Groups Admit Equal Growth Functions?
We show that finitely generated Abelian groups admit equal growth functions with respect to symmetric generating sets if and only if they have the same rank and the torsion parts have the same parity. In contrast, finitely generated Abelian groups admit equal growth functions with respect to monoid generating sets if and only if they have same rank. Moreover, we show that the size of the torsio...
